Joe Hart left out of England's World Cup squad by Gareth Southgate

Joe Hart has reportedly been told that he will not be included in Gareth Southgate's England squad for the summer's World Cup in Russian Federation. Jack Butland, Jordan Pickford and Nick Pope, among others have impressed a lot more and are now seen as far better choices for the Number.

The 31-year-old has been England's first choice goalkeeper for the last three major tournaments and has 75 global caps.

The 31-year-old is said to have already been told by the England boss that he will not be on the plane to Russian Federation, despite his vast experience acquired through 75 caps.

He has endured an indifferent spell with West Ham this season, losing his place towards the end of November to Adrián and starting only 19 league games in total.

Swansea's Alfie Mawson will also not be included in Southgate's squad for the World Cup after he underwent successful knee surgery on Monday - keeping him out for between six weeks and two months.
