Aliquippa is about 22 miles (34.6 kilometers) northwest of Pittsburgh. Her death was ruled a homicide.

Griffin contacted the designer, who cited family emergencies as the reason behind the delay, and the DelTondo family received their money.

A Pennsylvania teacher was gunned down on Mother's Day just months after being suspended from her job following a leaked police report stating that officers had found her in a steamed-up parked auto with a 17-year-old boy.

DelTondo had just returned from getting ice cream on Sunday evening when she was shot dead.

On May 14, 2018, in an otherwise a quiet lane in Beaver County, one of the DelTondo's neighbors counted six gunshots being fired outside the family's home.

According to KDKA-TV, DelTondo died at the scene.

'I don't know why that happened. "I really don't... lovely lady, friendly, knew everybody, talked to everybody". I really don't, ' said Dan Casper, a neighbor, who described the 32-year-old as a 'beautiful lady, friendly, knew everybody, talked to everybody'.

Police noted that 'the windows were steamed over and the engine was not running'.

DelTondo had been teaching at Pennsylvania Cyber for almost 10 years.

DelTondo was engaged at the time. She had told police the boy had called her because "he was upset and needed someone to take to". She said she didn't want her fiance to know because he would get mad.

The report said no charges were filed in the incident. The incident allegedly occurred in February 2016, and DelTondo was found with the student in a parked vehicle at 2:00 a.m. near Aliquippa hospital. The email pointed to the police report and said that DelTondo was in a "relationship" with the boy.

According to reports, an anonymous October email tipped off school officials to the 2016 incident.

However, he did say a cell phone is now in the possession of investigators and information from that phone will be retrieved.

Authorities then drove the student home, and informed DelTondo that there were "better places to just talk". "We have an active group with the Pennsylvania State Police, the Beaver County Detective Bureau and the Aliquippa Police Department working very hard together", Lozier said.

Though she was suspended by Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, DelTondo was never charged. We have no additional information beyond what is being reported by local media. "We express our sympathy to her family and coworkers and will support them in any way possible in the weeks and months ahead as they mourn her passing". "Ms. DelTondo was employed by PA Cyber but on a paid suspension".

A mother of a former Aliquippa High School student also told WPXI about an incident involving DelTondo and the woman's 16-year-old son. Her mom, Lisa DelTondo, bought her a $10,000 wedding dress from Anne Gregory Bridal in Dormont.

DelTondo's fiancé reportedly called off the wedding several months after the 2016 incident. Their wedding was canceled a few months after she was found in the vehicle with the student, but before her name was made public. But the salon owner, Gregory Cherico, never delivered the dress to her and never refunded her deposit.

This is a developing story.
