Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold showed what a diamond of a young man he is yesterday by inviting a disabled Reds' fan onto the pitch and pushing him around Anfield on his wheelchair.

And the 19-year-old thinks the Reds can approach that game in Kiev with confidence and belief having guaranteed that they will once again compete in the Champions League in 2018-19.

Alexander-Arnold was delighted with the way the team capped off their league campaign and believes it gives the players confidence ahead of the final on May 26.

Liverpool FC are now preparing for their final Premier League game of the season and a home clash against Brighton at Anfield.

"We had to get the win".

"Trent Alexander-Arnold will be a top-class defender but we have seen a few occasions in recent months when the opposition have targeted him on the right side of the Liverpool defence", Aldridge wrote in his Irish Independent column.

"We have worked hard for it all season".

But winning the 2017/18 Champions League title could save the Frenchman his job as they face Liverpool in the final in Ukraine.

"To get the chance to, especially 11 times, is an honour and I love doing it and hopefully I'll get the chance in the final". 'No matter who you're going to play against it's going to be one of the best players in the world because that's the nature of the team they have.

"[This is] a dream come true", he told Liverpool's official website.

"It's an honour every time I get the chance to go out on to the pitch, whether it be starting or as a sub, so I'm just happy to get on the pitch whenever I can", he continued.
