Andres Iniesta says he will most likely retire from worldwide soccer after Spain plays at the World Cup. "If nothing unusual happens, this World Cup will be my last participation with the Spanish national team", he announced.

He also was a key part of Spain's two successive European Championship triumphs in 2008 and 2012.

Iniesta is to leave the Catalan club after 16 seasons there, and while he's not retiring from football, he's ruled out a move to join up with his former manager Guardiola in the Premier League.

FC Barcelona have published the commemorative shirt dedicated to Andrés Iniesta, who on Sunday against Real Sociedad will play his final game with the club.

The 33-year-old has played 669 times for Barca since 2002, scoring 57 goals throughout his club career.

Eighteen people were reported injured while watching Andres Iniesta's television interview in Barcelona on Tuesday.

According to Barcelona city hall, 11 persons, including two minors, were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of varying bruises, while others were treated on site.
