20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for Bohemian Rhapsody.

Bohemian Rhapsody was written by Anthony McCarten who was nominated for the 2015 Oscar Best Writing award for The Theory of Everything.

The short trailer - barely a minute and a half long - opens with Malek (a very believable Mercury) engaging with his audience dishing out his typical showman charm.

The trailer shows Malek as Mercury throughout his musical career, singing iconic performances of hits like "Killer Queen" and "We Are The Champions", and delivering one-liners in the Queen front man's unique accent.

It's good to finally see the film coming to fruition.

It's been a long feat to make even the trailer.

The film is out 2nd November and after seeing this we're literally counting down the days. Bohemian Rhapsody is directed by Eddie the Eagle's Dexter Fletcher, who took over from Bryan Singer (X-Men) who was sacked mid-production.

Finally, a due date has been delivered.

It imitates the turbulence of the band as well as their success as one of the most infamous bands in the history of music.

"In the process, cementing the legacy of a band that were always more like a family, and who continue to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day".

And yeah I know that it's not an action or sci-fi flick, but sometimes Hollywood stops diddling kids, tingling male taints, and putting aside their penchant for planting Quaaludes in some starlet cuties to actually make some worthwhile movies, and I suspect Bohemian Rhapsody might be one of them.
