Bethel joins actor Jay Ali, as playing fellow Federal Bureau of Investigation agent named Ray Nadeem, and Joanne Whaley as Matt's mother, Sister Maggie, as major additions to the Season 3 cast. Variety confirmed back in November that the Hart of Dixie alum would join Daredevil Season 3 as " an Federal Bureau of Investigation agent who will play a critical role in the conflict between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk". Based on that character description, Marvel fans thought that they had figured out that Bethel would be playing comic book villain Sin-Eater.

Well, it's now being reported that Bethel is playing none other than Bullseye.

Actor Wilson Bethel, cast in November as an Federal Bureau of Investigation agent, will be bringing the legendary assassin to life. Writer Jason Aaron reimagined Bullseye' as Sheldon Pendergrass, a skilled marksman. Which iteration of the character do you hope to see in the show? Actor Charlie Cox was snapped donning Matt's black vigilante suit, which appeared in the first season.

"It's no secret, I've said it before and I get in trouble every time I say it, I'd like to see Bullseye make an appearance at some point". I think it's a really interesting opportunity. Since then, he has appeared on shows such as The Astronaut Wives Club, Blood & Oil, and How to Get Away with Murder.

Daredevil season 3 is shaping up to be the best installment of series yet, judging from all of the elements that seem to be coming together for it. Marvel fans were already thrilled to learn that Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk / Kingpin will once again be a major focus of season 3 - so they'll probably go wild over the rumor that Daredevil season 3 will finally introduce Bullseye to the Marvel Cinematic Universe! The character was last seen in 2003's Daredevil - the Ben Affleck starring movie that has essentially been forgotten by nearly everyone who watched it once they saw the Netflix series.

What do you think of this casting choice?

Who knows if we'll ever actually see these two worlds clash in a way that is satisfying to both fans of the films and fans of the shows, but it sure is a heck of a lot of fun to dream.
