Google Wifi's Network Check now tests multiple device connections

The Network Check feature is about to get better though, with the ability to measure how each individual connected device is performing on your wireless network. Google announced the feature today, explaining that it helps users figure out where the issue in their setup is located.

This approach is helpful if you're trying to troubleshoot a specific area in your home or office, but not a particular device.

The company writes: "In the past month alone, we saw an average of 18 connected devices on each Google Wifi network, globally". Google Wifi's Network Check technology has always let you measure the speed of your internet connection and the quality of the network connection between your Google Wifi access points (if you have more than one). However, figuring out why a device may be experiencing issues is tricky, so that's where the new feature comes in. However, with this change, you'll be able to see just how fast your Google Home or Wear OS device is running when on your network. However, I updated the iOS version of the Google Wifi app on Tuesday and gained access to the new Network Check tool. As a result, users can move and better position a Wifi router if devices in a certain area are performing slower. Once it arrives, users will find it directly within the WiFi app.
