In a since-removed Instagram post (screenshotted and shared by Jameela, among others), Kim touted a new product from the makers of the controversial Flat Tummy Tea: so-called "Appetite Suppressant Lollipops".

Of course, Kim Kardashian isn't the only celebrity who has been promoting the appetite suppressing candy, other stars such as Tori Spelling have also posted the ad. Spelling revealed via her Instagram account that the candy gives curbs her cravings by giving her the sweetness she wants.

According to the Flat Tummy Co website, the lollipops contain an ingredient called SATIEREAL, made up of saffron extract, which works to "maximise satiety, which helps control food intake, cravings and weight". They're Appetite Suppressant Lollipops and they're literally unreal.

The mom-of-three is getting slammed left and right on Instagram and Twitter for promoting this weight loss product to her 111 million Instagram followers as well as her 60 million Twitter followers.

A Twitter user added in response to Jamil: "This woman has far too much influence over young girls & seems incapable of using it in a positive way". "Eating is good for you, stop convincing people to literally starve themselves of food to get a flat tummy". And to play with your kids.

"I admire their mother's branding capabilities, she is an exploitative but innovative genius", wrote Jamil. "And to have something to say about your life at the end, other than 'I had a flat stomach'".

She added the cheeky hashtag, #suckit, as she informed fans that she was being paid for posting the advert.

"Eating disorders are a very real issue for a lot of young people and to see Kim Kardashian actively encouraging her fans to develop an unhealthy relationship with food is terrifying and gravely concerning", activist Liam Hackett tweeted. I don't follow you but when I read about this I needed to comment. One fan, bambinaaa, told Kim to "delete" the post.

"This is disgusting", wrote one.
