The Camping World Kickoff game featuring Alabama and Louisville in Orlando on Saturday, Sept. 1, will kick off under the lights in primetime in front of a nationally-televised audience. The next day Miami and LSU square off at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, at 7:30 p.m. ET. Central on September 1 and be televised on ABC, the Crimson Tide announced today.

Louisville and Alabama will meet for the fourth time in program history, with the Crimson Tide holding a 2-1 advantage in the series. The last pairing came on January 1, 1991 with the Cardinals claiming a 34-7 win in the Fiesta Bowl in Tempe, Ariz.

"The 2018 game will mark the seventh consecutive neutral-site season opener for the Crimson Tide", said the past Director of Athletics Bill Battle at the time of the announcement.

Louisville won't have former Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Lamar Jackson so it's unclear how much buzz there will be around this game. Alabama swept the only two regular season games in the series in 1976-77.
