Some fear Meghan's outspoken nature may not go over well in the gilded corridors of a royal dynasty where politics is taboo. Their newborn Prince Louis won't be at the May 19th wedding at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Meghan is said to be distraught at the news, but Thomas fears causing further embarrassment for his daughter or the Royal Family. It is not yet known if or what he was paid for the posed photographs, but it's been reported that Thomas will no longer be walking his daughter down the aisle. But celebrity news website TMZ reported Monday that the elder Markle has chose to stay away amid criticism over his decision to pose for mocked up wedding-preparation shots taken by a paparazzi agency.

He reportedly fears he will suffer another heart attack due to the emotional distress from the fallout over his deal with a paparazzi agency, which he insists was never about the money, but rather about improving his image. According to TMZ, though, the doctors would be the only impediment. It was not immediately possible to reach Thomas Markle for comment and it's not clear if he may change his plans again in the next few days. And he would only attend if his health allowed it, he said. According to the TMZ story published Tuesday, Prince Harry's father-in-law-to-be now wants to travel to England to participate in the wedding.

He told TMZ that Meghan unsuccessfully tried to call him yesterday, and later sent him a text telling him she loved him and was concerned about his health. "It was an unbelievable amount of stress. It really was so the world could see him doing the healthy things".

She has been quoted as saying: "The blood, sweat and tears this man who came from so little in a small town of Pennsylvania, where Christmas stockings were filled with oranges, and dinners were potatoes and Spam invested in my future so that I could grow up to have so much". I didn't want him deprived of that. Ms. Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, has remained silent but has also been hounded by paparrazi, even on her way to and from work.

However, Harry's communications secretary told reporters last week he would have an important role and would give away his daughter on the couple's big day.

However, Mr Markle told TMZ that Meghan has said she does not have any ill feelings towards him for staging the photos. He said he had been offered up to $100,000 for interviews and been ambushed by paparazzi whose snaps had shown him buying beer and looking dishevelled. Both were to be entertained this week by the queen and other senior royals, including Prince Charles and Prince William.

"The sun is very strong at this time of year so if you are planning to be outside all day, at either the wedding or elsewhere, it is important to do not forget to wear sunscreen or cover-up", the Met Office said.

It was the subject of fevered speculation among royal watchers on Monday night after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle asked for "understanding" amid claims that Thomas Markle, Meghan's father, won't be attending the royal wedding.
