The Vivo X21i's bezels are extremely slim, the telephone does sport a somewhat thin "chin" under the screen, however.

Vivo X21i features a 6.28-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a 2.5D curved glass.

Talking about the innards, unlike the Vivo X21 which is powered by Snapdragon 660, the Vivo X21i comes with MediaTek's Helio P60 SoC which is paired with 4 or 6 GB RAM. The phone features a fingerprint sensor at the back. The phone contains a screen top notch, as you'll come across all its keys to the right. There is also a dedicated AI-focused APU. It looks almost bezel-less and comes with a iPhone X-like notch at the top of the display.

The phone featurs dual camera setup that has a primary 12-megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. This includes beauty and scene detection modes. This front-facing camera can also be utilized to scan your head, if you choose to utilize the telephone's face scanning attribute. The selfie snapper is backed by a wide range of software features like AR stickers, Face Wake facial recognition, AI Beauty mode and more. The phone comes packed with a 3,425mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, layered with the FunTouch OS 4.0. The device comes in White, Red, and Black color options.

The Vivo X21i comes in two variants, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, both of which are priced at 2,698 Yuan (Rs 28,800/$425). Vivo started the preorders of X21i via its official stores and online store alongside JD.com, Tmall, and Suning. After all, China will not even take part in the 2018 FIFA World Cup set to kick off around this time next month. In related news, Vivo recently shared a teaser on its India twitter handle, which gives us a hint regarding the imminent launch of a new X21 series smartphone in the country.
