"Hard Knocks", which debuted with the Ravens in 2001, focuses on the daily lives of the team's players and coaches as they prepare for the upcoming season.

The Cleveland Browns will bear all later this year.

Among the storylines expected to dominate the Browns' preseason is the play of rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield, the Heisman Trophy victor, who was chosen by Cleveland with the first overall pick in the National Football League draft.

Hard Knocks will largely pick up where Behind Baker left off.

The Cleveland Browns will appear on HBO's "Hard Knocks" for the 2018 season, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Browns have accepted the chance after turning it down several times previously, said the person who spoke on condition of anonymity because the official announcement has not been made.

Only six teams were eligible for "Hard Knocks" this summer.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were featured on last year's show.

Browns general manager John Dorsey had expressed reservations about appearing on the series.
