Grand Theft Auto V has sold more than 95 million copies worldwide since launching back in 2013.

Rockstar recently launched the GTA 5 Online Premium Edition, which bundles the full game alongside a bunch of content for its online multiplayer companion.

Also, GTA Online is on the verge with millions of players and lots of regular updates from Rockstar. Keep in mind that the fiscal year 2020 spans from April 2019 to March 2020. However, Take-Two did not share any specific revenue or player figures for GTA Online.

GTA Online pulls in money from the microtransactions it offers. GTA V and GTA: Online are both huge drivers of revenues for Rockstar and Take-Two. The two biggest possible titles are Borderlands 3 and that not-quite-announced BioShock game.

Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick offered his two pence as to why the game continues to prove so popular, saying it demonstrates how Rockstar has managed to 'make the title easy to approach but hard to master'.

It really shouldn't come as much of a surprise when Grand Theft Auto V hits another milestone.

"During the fourth quarter, Take-Two delivered net bookings growth driven by increased recurrent consumer spending - including better-than-expected results from Grand Theft Auto Online", Take-Two chief executive officer Strauss Zelnick said in a statement. As we told you before, it is a version that includes the base game, as well as several bonuses for Grand Theft Auto Online. If you're somewhat more casual, you can find the experience super compelling, ' he said. "There is so much there now that you can very much define your own experience and create that for many, many hours of wonderful entertainment".
