PUBG PC and Xbox One players have been exploring the desert wasteland of Miramar for a while, but players of Tencent's PUBG Mobile will finally be able to apply their on-the-go tactics to the game's second map.

There are new weapons and new vehicles that come with the new map - which we'll leave you to discover for yourselves - but both bring a bit of a refresh as we roll into season 2 of PUBG Mobile.

Twitch launched this new set of custom filters earlier, and they're available to everyone watching PUBG streams.

PUBG Mobile is available to download for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Yesterday, PlayerUknown's Battlegrounds on mobile received a sizeable update, bringing it to version 0.50. - Initial parachute speed increased to match the PC version.

You can also change the style, choosing between classic, colourful (vibrant), realistic and soft to suit your preference. Plus, there's a new progression system with PUBG 0.5.0 update that lets you collect rewards on reaching new levels and weekly activity missions to allow you to earn more loot.

If you'd rather just purchase items for yourself, v0.5.0 introduces a Shop where you can buy specific clothing items for your character, as well as a Secret Stash where you'll find "special discounted items".

The 0.5.0 update is packed with improvements as well, such as sound effects added to melee combat and breaking doors, smoother spectator mode and parachute camera, and an improved display of personal information.
