In its honor, the streaming site Twitch is teaming up with NBC Universal to bring you a 48-hour marathon of the all-time best SNL sketches. The episodes will run in succession. "Join tons of fans in chat to relive SNL classics like the Spartan cheerleader tryouts, Bill Clinton's trip to McDonald's, and Adam Sandler's unforgettable tune, 'Lunch Lady Land.' You may even see a clip or two with Drake from before Ninja made him famous". But, come nightfall, be sure to watch SNL for the final episode of season 43. You can also sign up through Facebook.

Nicki Minaj will be hosting a big party after her "Saturday Night Live" performance, but unfortunately it won't be going down anywhere near the champagne room.

"Now I'm back at 30 Rock, and I couldn't be more excited".

"Similar to Twitch chat, Saturday Night Live serves as live commentary on pop culture and current events", said Jane Weedon, Director of Business Development at Twitch, in a press release.

The former SNL head writer and cast member is returning to Studio 8H this weekend to host the sketch show's season 43 closer alongside musical guest Nicki Minaj, and to celebrate, she's looking back at her illustrious body of work in cartoon form.

Twitch creators will be able to co-stream the marathon, which allows a creator to share another channel's video feed with their own commentary and community, resulting in a more personalized, social experience.

It's not the first marathon for Twitch, which has aired around 12 marathons over the last few years including all 856 episodes of children's series Mister Rogers Neighborhood, all 236 episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh!, as well as Bob Ross' The Joy of Painting, and the original series of ReBoot and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - but this'll be the first sketch comedy instalment. The rap star has geeked out over sharing the "Saturday Night Live" stage this coming weekend with actress Tina Fey.
