The Crew 2 beta kicks off later this month

MAY 16, 2018- Today, Ubisoft announced that the Closed Beta for The Crew 2 will take place from May 31, at 9am United Kingdom time, to June 4 at 9am United Kingdom time, on PlayStation4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X and Windows PC. Beta participants can pre-load the game from May 29, 2018.

Back during E3 2017, Ubisoft had started taking signups for their upcoming MMO meets racing title, The Crew 2.

For those planning on playing on the PC, the system requirements haven't been released yet but will be soon.

The Crew 2 is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on June 29.

If you're able to get into the beta you can invite up to three friends to join your own "crew" online, and tear up the streets.

For more info on the beta and what to expect, head over to The Crew 2 website here. This beta will feature four different event types (Street Race, Rally Raid, Powerboat and Aerobatics) as well as having an event sponsored by Motor Trend Magazine.

Ubisoft has said that there will be no restrictions on where players can roam in the world, saying that they can "explore [the] entire open world with no loading times or barriers". With a wide variety of cars, bikes, boats, and planes, compete in a wide range of driving disciplines.
