Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 goes on sale in India

This makes the ZenFone Live L1 is the first Android Go phone by Asus.

According to BGR report, ZenFone Max Pro M1 comes in two variants of 3GB RAM model with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM model with 64GB storage.

Well, the Asus ZenFone Live L1 has gone on sale in the Southeast Asian country for IDR 1,399,000, which translates to around Rs 6,750.

Originally scheduled to take place in mid-May, we have just received the confirmation from ASUS Malaysia that the ZenFone Max Pro M1 launch in our market will take place at the end of this month instead.

The Android Oreo Update for the ZenFone Deluxe includes quite a few other changes apart from the usual Oreo goodies.


Note that the Asus Zenfone Live L1 is now available only in Indonesia only. The 3GB RAM variant is expected to cost Rs 10,999, while 4GB RAM variant will be prices at Rs 12,999. As per speculations, the Android Go smartphone from Asus could be announced soon. Where the Android Go Live L1 device sports an 8-megapixel primary camera, the regular versions of the Zenfone device come with a 13-megapixel rear camera.

Display: 5.45-inch (1440 x 720 pixels) HD+ IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 400 nits brightness. The smartphone had been launched in August 2016 with the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system out of the box.

As already highlighted, the Go edition of the phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) aka Android Go based ZenUI 5.0 on top.

Both versions of the Zenfone Live L1 are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC and will come with support for dedicated SIM cards (both LTE-enabled) and a microSD card which can hold up to 2 terabytes of data.
