"I read it. I started to read it, and then the [woman] who runs our house asked if she can borrow it and I never saw the book again", the 71-year-old told Entertainment Tonight in April.

Turning the tables, the The Godfather actress asked if Ellen had seen the Fifty Shades films, inquiring: 'And what was your opinion, sexually?'

Last night, after a torrential downpour that felt downright cinematic, Candice Bergen joined costars Don Johnson and Mary Steenburgen for a screening of their new movie Book Club and an after-party at Omar's, hosted by the Cinema Society and the Swiss chocolatier Lindt. "I'm gonna do it with you right now". As for the films? It's "Book Club", and hey, I understand these women and know their doppelgangers.

But Diane Keaton has no plans to flip through E.L. James' bonkbuster trilogy, she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week. There is an appetite for the kinds of stories Book Club wants to tell - which is why Netflix's Grace and Frankie, which co-stars Fonda, is doing so well - and there's no reason why we can't have more comedies starring hot, confident, self-actualized 65-plus-year-old women exploring the "next chapter" of their lives, like the film's tagline boasts.

"I'm afraid to do it, because honestly, it gets too.it's the dirty word. I look at his face and I... go like this", Keaton continues, grabbing Kimmel's face with both of her hands. "It's too much for me, its too exciting, c'mon".

Sometimes you laugh so hard at a movie trailer that you can't wait for the real thing to hit the theaters.
