Tip claims Nokia X5 & X7 incoming globally, X6 may be China exclusive

Nokia X6 which launched in China has the model number TA-1099, and the one that has been spotted online reveals the model number to be TA- 1103, and could possibly be a global variant. Just stay tuned with us as we bring you more updates when HMD Global releases new Nokia smartphones on May 29.

It is to be noted that the Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer at HMD Global had confirmed the availability of the 4G support for the second SIM card slot after listening to feedback from customers. A separate report claims that instead of the Nokia X6, the Finnish company is planning to bring the Nokia X5 and Nokia X7 as its new Nokia X series handsets for the global markets. Currently, only a bunch of smartphones support dual VoLte in India. There is a display notch and as a result, the aspect ratio has been pushed to 19:9 aspect ratio. There is also a notch on the display, which is the reason why the smartphone has a taller aspect ratio.

To recall the specifications of the Nokia & Plus, the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC under the hood coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage space. All three storage variants support storage expandability up to 256GB via microSD card. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back which has a glossy finish thanks to an all-glass design. The phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo, and has a 3060mAh battery and USB Type-C connectivity.

As far as cameras of the device are concerned, the phone offers a dual-camera setup on the rear which has a primary 16MP sensor, backed up by a 5MP monochrome sensor.

Anyway, Nokiapoweruser recalls that HMD is organizing a conference in Russian Federation on May 29th and that this event could be used to announce the Nokia X5 and X7. The front houses as a 16MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture. However, if priced at under Rs 15000, not many people would be complaining about it.
