Conte & Hazard Reflect On Chelsea's Season After FA Cup Final Triumph

The futures of both Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial, who started on the bench for the FA Cup final, are also in doubt.

The nerves of the occasion are clear for all to see as the players ready themselves for one of the biggest games of the season.

"Unfortunately there has been only one that we have challenged for, which is now the FA Cup".

Yet, on Saturday, after a particularly harrowing ninety minutes of football at the Wembley, Mourinho ended up on the losing side, his Manchester United side subjected to a fine display of "parking the bus" by Chelsea who have otherwise underperformed the whole season.

Conte was pressed further on speculations regarding his future but insisted that he is committed to Chelsea, "I have a contract and I have committed to this club, even with the speculation, my position was always the same - I was committed".

If the midfielder is to make the move south he will be greeted with some familiar faces, none more so than former City player Pablo Zabaleta, who, alongside Toure, secured City's first Premier League title back in 2011-12.

Despite finishing second in the league, 19 points behind local rivals Manchester City, Mourinho has been routinely crticized this season for United's own defensive approach.

If they want to keep Hazard, they will probably need a manager he wants to play for and they will have to attract him - and any potential signings - without the carrot of Champions League football.

In terms of new players, Chelsea have to do better than last summer when they did not get their recruitment right.

"It is enough today but if we want to win a lot of games we need to play better because we had to play defensively". A tremendous first season in charge saw the Blues coast to the title, and narrowly miss out on a League and FA Cup double at the hands of Arsenal.

Courtois said: "Yeah, I think so". The club's Champions League tie with Liverpool is an example of the duo's most ineffective moments. I leave my players happy with them.

United were awful in the first half and offered absolutely nothing.

Alexis Sanchez struggled to shine at Wembley.

"I have great respect for my club".

"We'll see what is going to happen after the World Cup".

Extremely consistent and energetic, the Pole would lift a huge weight of Hazard's shoulders of being the only offensive outlet for the team, allowing the Belgian to play much more freely, either out wide or through the middle.
