A stand-alone Boba Fett movie would be the first time we have a non-white character leading a Star Wars movie rather than being a supporting character who can get sidelined in sequels because of basic shipping agenda-I'm not bitter or anything. That's not all, though, as it appears now that an old project has been resurrected as well: the Boba Fett movie. We have countless Star Wars TV shows, Star Wars video games, Star Wars reality shows, and of course, Star Wars films. The character's backstory was touched on in "Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones" as well as "The Clone Wars" animated series.

With James Mangold, the Academy Award-nominated writer/director of Logan set to develop the upcoming Boba Fett Star Wars Story film, another writer will join him in his duties in bringing the beloved bounty hunter back to the big screen.

An Obi-Wan Kenobi film is also thought to be in development, while a Solo sequel focussing on Lando Calrissian is also thought to be under consideration.

These include a film about Boba Fett, which the report stated will be written and directed by James Mangold.

Yet unlike Han Solo, it shouldn't be too hard for people to imagine another Indiana Jones because we've already seen other versions of the character. "Wish STAR WARS would deepen their bench on this".

A background character who seemingly died in the following film, Return Of The Jedi, Boba Fett nonetheless quickly became one of the franchise's most popular creations.

Indiana Jones is one of the most iconic figures in movies.

The intergalactic hitman was immediately speculated to be one of the characters receiving an anthology film when Disney announced the new initiative.

Boba Fett is a man of color.

Scott Wampler chimed in: "My scorching hot pitch for a BOBA FETT movie: don't make a BOBA FETT movie". Stop acting like he is only important to white boy geeks.
