Xbox One X deals lead the charge in Microsoft’s E3 sale

The sale includes a milestone with the first price drop ever for Xbox One X, with $50 off the system via the Microsoft Store and some participating retailers.

The Xbox E3 Big Fun Deals Week is now live and has a tempting sale for Xbox Game Pass, the Netflix style subscription service which gives you access to dozens of Xbox One and Xbox 360 backwards compatible games (including all major exclusives from day one) to download and play at your leisure.

The discounted price will be available from the Microsoft store and some major retailers, but it's now unclear which United Kingdom retailers will be offering this discount or exactly how much it will drop in the UK.

The Microsoft Store will also have various games discounted at up to 75-percent off.

To learn everything Microsoft is offering before E3, you can check out the official listing over here at Xbox Wire. Games like Monster Hunter: World, Sea of Thieves and PUBG will be on sale for the first time, along with more than 300 other titles. People who prefer to buy their memberships at a retailer can get a Buy 3, Get 3 months deal for Xbox Live Gold and save 50% off of six months of Xbox Game Pass instead.

Obviously, this sale also involves discounts on games. "Get deals on Xbox One X enhanced titles like Sea of Thieves, FIFA 18, Assassin's Creed Origins, and Forza Motorsport 7, and immerse yourself in stunning 4K ultra HD gaming with HDR". Third-party accessories from companies like Seagate, Turtle Beach, and Hyperkin will also be getting price cuts during the promotion.

However, even though a lot of this starts before E3 (on June 7 for most deals), you'll be able to see what happens at The Big Show before further investing in the Xbox ecosystem.
