Man Found Dead at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival

A Bonnaroo attendee was found dead on Friday morning on the festival grounds, Coffee County EMS officials said. Festival-goers contacted the medical team in the Plaza 6 camping area and asked them to assist the man.

Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has only just begun but it is already marred by tragedy. The Coffee County Sheriff's Department identified the man, who was found dead inside a vehicle with the engine running, as 32-year-old Michael Craddock of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.

Local news station WKRN reports that the man has been identified as Michael Craddock Jr. from Mt. Juliet, and his body has been sent to Nashville for an autopsy. He was later pronounced dead by the Coffee County Medical Examiner's office. The cause of the death is under investigation, but authorities do not suspect there was foul play. Bonnaroo has had a strong safety record with no deaths at the festival in 3 years.
