The Cavaliers fell to the Golden State Warriors in Game 4 on Friday, completing the sweep and presumably ending James' tenure in Cleveland.

Curry said after the win that the team used its experience in Game 4 against the Cavaliers a year ago - also down 3-0 to the Warriors, they won by 19 to force one more game - to prepare, knowing they'd face a focused opponent.

Golden State outscored Cleveland 25-13 in the third quarter, James managing only four points - all on free throws - in the period, and the Warriors rolled through the final minutes to another coronation.

Jun 8, 2018; Cleveland, OH, USA; Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (30) celebrates after beating the Cleveland Cavaliers in game four of the 2018 NBA Finals at Quicken Loans Arena.

Thanks to the incredible show Kevin Durant put on in Game 3, the Warriors are in position to finish a sweep tonight of the Cavaliers.

"We used the experience a year ago to our advantage", Curry said.

The health of James' hand likely would not have had much affect on the outcome of the series, a four-game sweep by the Warriors.

Overcoming obstacles all season long, the Warriors were not going to be denied and won the fourth straight finals matchup against Cleveland easily.

James described that Game 1 loss as "very emotional" for him. The Warriors blew them out in two of the final three games. Andre Iguodala returned to the court and chipped in with eight points in 22 minutes of action. One reporter asked him if he thought Durant was going to be a superstar back when LeBron faced him and the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2012 NBA Finals.

For James, no one really knows what his next decision will be.

The Warriors, who boast what may be the greatest offensive juggernaut that basketball has ever known, used a dominant third quarter to build a 21-point lead that left the Cavaliers' hopes of a series comeback in their wake. He didn't get the foul, but his hurl was good for a 13-3 lead that stunned the crowd. If you can't make it in person, we have you covered - ABC7 will bring you live coverage online and on TV!
