Square Enix revealed some cinematic cutscenes as well as gameplay of the main protagonist slashing a dragon with a giant sword, riding a horse throughout the world and wielding an interesting "Light" power that seems to be the focus of the game. In the short teaser we got, it looks like Babylon's Fall is a melee action game with a healthy dose of fantasy elements thrown in there.

There is more information for the game being promised in August. The title will be made available for the PlayStation 4 and Steam for PC when it launches. The teaser was a unusual mixture of live action and in-game graphics, but the central gimmick seems to be that the main character is deaf.

Beginning the conference on a high note a new trailer was shown for Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Square Enix's hilariously brief E3 livestream - in their minor defence, they avoided using the word "conference" when promoting it - was pretty much the opposite of what most fans both wanted and expected.

Outside of that, there was a sneak peek at a new title called The Quiet Man, which at first glance seems to be a title devoted to a deaf man punching Hispanic dudes in alleys throughout NY. The dialogue was pretty very bad though and it wasn't made any better by the British-accented voiceovers. Monster Hunter: World and Final Fantasy XIV will be pairing up in Summer 2018 as the Rathalos appears in FFXIV. The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, a new game in the Life is unusual universe, and the Xbox version of Nier: Automata were also announced yesterday, stripping today's presentations of any real excitement.
