A few days ago, the rating classification for the Fortnite version of the Nintendo Switch surfaced in Korea.

Ohhhhhh Nintendo Switch owners this is the news you all have been waiting for that is of course if you were hoping Fortnite would land on the console. Hacker SciresM brought these references to light on Twitter earlier today, also discovering a Fortnite icon that looks like the one Epic would use for the Nintendo Switch homescreen. It made its debut back in 2014 on the Sony PS4, PC and the Microsoft Xbox One. I'm not sure how many characters will actually be available in the demo, but I get the feeling we'll see more in the E3 Direct than we will in the playable demo. It's possible that Nintendo could announce the new GameCube controllers for the Switch during E3.

It is important to note that this does not serve as an official announcement of the game's release nor a confirmation that its launch is happening anytime soon. How do they even top that for E3 2018?

If you're asking us what we want to see, we have five letters and a piece of punctuation for you: F-Zero.

We know we'll be seeing more about Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Pokemon Let's Go Eevee at the show, as well as more about Super Smash Bros. Adding popular games to the console has always worked in Nintendo's favour thus far.

We should hear more information about Fortnite's future during Nintendo's E3 livestream on Tuesday, June 12th, at 9:00 AM PT. To our eyes, these titles seem like ones that will be part of a montage; as big as Fortnite is, it's hard to imagine Nintendo dedicating that much time to just one third-party title.

References to Fortnite have been spotted in a recent eShop update.
