The Serbian has shot to limelight after an incredible season with Lazio.

The powerful midfielder is a summer target for Real Madrid and Juventus, and Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the Lazio star.

Sergej Milinkovic Savic of SS Lazio celebrate a opening goal during the serie A match between Torino FC and SS Lazio at Stadio Olimpico di Torino on April 29, 2018 in Turin, Italy. Los Blancos are readying a €150 million offer to secure the services of the Lazio midfielder.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is reported to be signing for United this summer.

Lazio now value their midfield asset at a considerable £132 million, something which has forced Man United into reconsidering their interest.

The race to sign Milinkovic-Savic takes an interesting turn.

According to newspaper Il Messaggero, the Bernabeu club are willing to better Lazio's demands in order to stave off United's rivalled interest.

What's more, after signing Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk, the Premier League outfit will only make a move for Milinkovic-Savic if Marouane Fellaini does not sign a new deal at Old Trafford.

The player, however, will be deciding his future only after getting done with Serbia's campaign at this year's World Cup.

The 23-year-old would also command a yearly salary of €6m to begin with, which could increase over the course of a five-year contract.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, could be set to enter a period of change.

And Real, who have won four out of the last five Champions League titles, are keen to bring the average age of their squad down.
