Ivanka Trump made $US3.9 million ($5.2 million) from her investment in her father's hotel in Washington previous year, according to a disclosure released by the White House on Tuesday.

Senior White House Advisers Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump attend a reception held at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem. His previous disclosure filed in April 2017 had showed assets in at least the $140 million range. The money Trump receives from limited liability companies associated with the Trump Organization has been restructured into annual fixed payments of $1.5 million, "a change made in consultation with Office of Government Ethics officials to reduce her "interest in the performance of the business" according to the Post.

Trump and Kushner aren't the only White House staffers raking in the millions, however.

The news sources didn't list all the sources of income for the power couple, but just cited a few examples from financial disclosure forms obtained by the newspaper.

Peter Mirijanian, a spokesman for the couple's ethics lawyer, Abbe Lowell, said Ms Trump and Mr Kushner had abided by government ethics rules.

He is not involved in managing Kushner Co., his family's real estate company, but had $2 billion worth of transactions during 2016 and 2017, according to the Post. The latest disclosure shows it was worth at least $25 million at the end of a year ago, up from a minimum value of $5 million in his previous disclosure. That trust generated over $5 million in revenue past year.

She also made $3.9 million from the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. and more than $2 million from severance from the Trump Corp. a year ago. The Trump family has faced accusations of using the presidency for personal profit.

Kushner's income, for instance, included more than US$6 million from Quail Ridge, a Plainsboro, New Jersey, apartment complex the Kushner company, now run by his relatives, acquired past year. Mr Kushner reported more than $5m in income from a New Jersey apartment complex.

Kushner reported at least $27 million and as much as $135 million in outstanding liabilities.
