Robert De Niro, fresh off the Tony Awards stage where he attacked the USA president, and celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa are in Toronto today to launch a major new development.

Actor Robert De Niro dropped an F-bomb at the politically charged Tony Awards 2018 on Sunday.

After the awards show, De Niro traveled to Toronto, Ontario and publicly apologized to the Canadian people for "the idiotic behavior of my president".

Robert De Niro, an outspoken critic of Donald Trump, had something to very important to say about him at Sunday night's Tony Awards: "F-k Trump'. Its disgusting. It's great to be here in Toronto", De Niro said to applause at the groundbreaking of Nobu Restaurant, Hotel and Residences on Mercer St.

Tensions between Trump and Trudeau are at an all-time high after the two leaders disagreed over trade at the summit.

The actor also apologized to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Group of Seven on behalf of Americans for Trump's about-face after the G7 summit concluded in Charlevoix, Que.

It was hardly the first time that De Niro, who was born in NY and lives in the city, attacked fellow New Yorker Trump.

"De Niro represents exactly what's going on in this country", he said.

In March, he called the president an "idiot" who "lacks any sense of humanity or compassion", People reported.

"I have avoided so many events with them because for so many years of my life I pretended that I was not a Middle Eastern person", Stachel said, holding back tears. "Our baby-in-chief - the j***-off-in-chief, I call him - has put the press under siege, ridiculing it and trying to discredit it through outrageous attacks and lies".

The line was classic De Niro, who has made no secret of his disdain for the billionaire real estate developer now in the White House. The article has a quote from some Broadway guy saying 'Who's gonna argue with De Niro?' Ah, tens of millions, maybe.
