Metro will be taking the Russian post-apocalyptic epic into a bigger and badder place than ever before.

4A Games hit their stride with the Metro games, with millions of gamers waiting for the third entry in the franchise with Metro Exodus, which had a gameplay trailer debut during E3 2018.

As you'd expect, Metro Exodus's world is looking pretty hostile, with some bulky mutated creatures looking to take you out before you can mow them down with one of your shonky weapons.

Metro Exodus was originally slated to release this year; however, publisher THQ Nordic announced back in May that the game would now be coming in the first quarter of 2019. It is being developed by 4A Games who have previously worked on Metro 2033, Metro Last Light and now Metro Exodus. It is up to Artyom leave his home in Timiryazevskaya station and travel between underground cities made out of old subway tunnels and even traverses through the poisonous abandoned cities above ground. There was also a look at different enemies ranging from human and non-human. We then see Artyom fighting of horrifying creatures in tight action gameplay and narrow escapes from giant monsters. Metro Exodus will set to release very early next year, on 22nd February, 2019.
