Watch the E3 2018 trailer.

Transference's Ubisoft Montreal has already partnered up with film production company Spectrevision, and actors and actresses such as Elijah Wood, Daniel Noah, Josh C. Waller & Lisa Whalen are to tell character-driven stories and create mystery.

The first person exploration game will focus on Raymond Hayes and his experiments with collecting brain data from subjects, which happen to be from himself and members of his family.

Transference is set to come out in Fall 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PSVR, and other VR platforms.

The atmosphere of the trailer presents a unusual, nearly dreamlike quality, with odd voices whispering as Raymond speaks to his son, the whispers warning of betrayal and lies as the corrupted simulation begins to take hold and the extent of the danger presented by Raymond's experiments becomes clear. Go hands-on to search for clues, solve puzzles and discover the corrupted consciousness of a family. This is no RPG, you stumble into Raymond's experiment with your own experience and must interpret events for yourself. The game is also fully playable on traditional platforms PS4, Xbox One and PC, bringing this unique and disturbing narrative experience to everyone.
