War games: Liberals slam Trump for using ‘language of the enemy’

The Trump-Kim geopolitical reality-TV show - surreal for some - offered unparalleled entries to the annals of global diplomacy.

Russian Federation is welcoming the outcome of the summit between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

So, before I even ask you about the summit, what is this sort of after-the-summit set of statements say to you?

Yun Duk-min of the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul said the promises made at Tuesday's summit did little to advance previous agreements between the US and the North over the latter's disarmament-which Pyongyang had backed out of in the past-and even "lacked verification details" included in those deals.

"Our suspension for suspension process is right and has been realized", a spokesperson for the ministry stated, a BBC correspondent in China reported.

Trump has said the US and South Korea should stop their joint military exercises as long as both sides are negotiating in good faith, which the president says is happening.

Meeting with staged ceremony on a Singapore island, Trump and Kim signed a joint statement on Tuesday agreeing to work toward a denuclearised Korean Peninsula, although the timeline and tactics were left unclear.

Since the end of the Korean war, when Washington fought alongside Seoul against the North, the United States has had troops stationed in South Korea.

There was no immediate comment about the sanctions claim from the USA side.

That's yet another instance of the New Silk Roads, or Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) meeting the Eurasia Economic Union (EAEU).

'So he's giving it a red-hot go.

It said that Kim and Trump had "shared recognition to the effect that it is important to abide by the principle of step-by-step and simultaneous action in achieving peace, stability and denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula".

'There have been many disappointments along the road to denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula.

The North Korean leader appears unimpressed by the US President's remark at their working lunch in Singapore. There are also joint US-Japanese drills each year. In fact there's plenty of meat.

He also believes this deal will hurt America and South Korea financially. The two signed a four-point joint statement.

Those conditions were absent from the wording of the joint declaration.

News of the decision to halt the drills stoked concern in Japan, with Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera calling joint exercises and the US military presence in South Korea "vital" to East Asian security.

The Chinese position echoes comments made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who called for a lifting of sanctions during a May visit to Pyongyang, North Korea's capital. "Franklin Graham spends a tremendous amount of time in North Korea and things will be happening".

That's the commitment. "International community", as everyone knows, is code for the United States as The Great Decider.
