Anthony Martial's agent confirms that the French winger wants to leave Manchester United this summer. I think he has done his best for three years and it is important to remember that he scored 11 goals and made 10 assists in five months of last season.

The young forward has been linked with a move away from Manchester United in recent months, and was reportedly unhappy that he was not allowed to speak with Arsenal in January.

"Anthony is sad about his situation at Manchester".

Tottenham are also interested, and Martial has intimated that he would be prepared to move to White Hart Lane, though United would rather he was sold overseas. Right now Anthony is disappointed because he has shown for three seasons the love he feels for the club and its fans.

The 22-year-old's agent, Philippe Lamboley, has revealed that Martial's situation has deteriorated to the point that he feels that there's no way back now.

"After thinking about all the possibilities and scenarios, Anthony wants to leave Manchester United", declared Lamboley.

"I think when United, the most powerful club in the world, is not in agreement in eight months of negotiations, it's that they don't really want to make him an important player in the team".

Martial has been out of favour at the club since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez and recently missed out on a place in the France squad for the World Cup, with club form, no doubt, playing a part in Didier Deschamps final decision to omit the striker. Everyone will have their opinion, I think we need to resume his career. The time has come.

Asked on RMC is foreign clubs are interested in the forward, his agent added: "Anthony has the choice".

"The only thing I can say is that many coaches appreciate his profile and that many clubs want to show their projects to Anthony".

Pushed on which leagues Martial would be willing to play in, Lamboley said: "Today, this is not the most important question".
