Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly been put on alert after Bayern Munich confirmed that one of their star players is considering leaving the club in this transfer window.

According to Munich's CEO, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Boateng will be allowed to leave for the right price after the 29-year-old conceded that he was considering his future having "experienced everything" in seven years at the Allianz Arena.

Reports have claimed over the last week that Bayern's Boateng is a priority for Mourinho this summer - he and Alderweireld head the list along with six other potential defensive candidates, and it seems that the Portuguese could turn his attention to Boateng.

When a club is interested, and Jerome says that he wants to join this club, we will consider it.

"I don't hide the fact that we have a financial threshold, but it won't be low for sure".

"We are here with the national team and a World Cup is about to start".

Boateng is preparing for the World Cup in Russian Federation, where Germany's campaign begins on Sunday against Mexico, and insisted his focus is exclusively on the global tournament. "I do not know why these statements were made", he told a news conference.

Where would you like to see Boateng end up playing next?
