Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the White House press secretary, has responded to a CBS News report that said she is planning to leave the Trump administration.

Both Sanders and Shah are weighing future options, Fox News has learned, which may or may not include their departures from the White House.

Sanders plans to leave at the end of the year, according to CBS. A source told the network that Sanders let friends know she prepared to exit by the end of the year.

Sanders took to Twitter to respond to the CBS News report that said she and deputy press secretary Raj Shah were leaving. "I love my job and am honored to work for" President Donald Trump. Numerous staffers have left in recent months, including Communications Director Hope Hicks, assistant press secretary Natalie Strom and director of White House message strategy Cliff Sims. Some positions have never been filled.

In an effort to address all the leaks emanating from the Trump administration, there are plans afoot to slowly whittle down the White House communications team (according to the latest batch of leaks).

The biggest concern over such a high turnover rate is the fact that nobody stays long enough to learn the job and do it well.

Communications director Anthony Scaramucci was sacked last summer after a brief stint at the White House.
