Today, in their E3 Nintendo Direct, they revealed that game to be Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Looking forward to the latest entry in the Fire Emblem series?

Fire Emblem: Three Houses will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Spring 2019. There also seems to be some sort of explorable hub or world with actual 3D models instead of 2D sprites. For more details on the tactical role-playing game, make sure to search for Twinfinite!

A traditional turn-based tactical RPG that puts new twists on strategic battling.

It will be interesting to see if Fire Emblem: Three Houses borrows from Fire Emblem: Heroes for mobile devices in any fashion.

As the title suggests this time around players will be in control of three main characters - Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude - who all play a major role in the story. Apart from winning combat, players will also have to build alliances, interact and establish relationships with other in-game characters, and collect helpful information to help with the strategy.

A reveal trailer showed new features, including the ability to start in a top-down view and zoom in to view ground-level battles.
