Roseanne Barr is making the weird claim that her racist tweet about former Obama White House adviser Valerie Jarrett was somehow a condemnation of anti-Semitism.

Barr's claim is a stretch at best, and is probably more accurately characterized as a lie.

In Barr's original tweet that prompted the firestorm, she wrote: "Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj".

Roseanne Barr has taken the time to reflect for her recent actions, which she said have led to health issues.

"Thomas Muhammad has agreed to speak for me, as he knows the work I have done in civil rights against racism ALL MY LIFE & understands my tweet was about Iran's regime, not race -The website is: http://www.bbunity.com", she tweeted.

Her full tweetstorm is below.

As she returned to the networking site, she said she had been reflecting on the scandal, but insisted she was "misunderstood" and had "never practised racism".

A Roseanne Barr tweet storm Wednesday night produced another head-scratching moment. That is what my tweet referred to-the anti semitism of the Iran deal.

After sharing her controversial tweet about Jarrett back in May, the actress blamed her behavior on her use of ambien. "I have faith in the American people to free their minds & unite". "I've never practiced "RACISM" in my entire life & never will. Meantime..."

In addition to sharing her love for a new Malcolm X documentary, Barr praised Kanye West, who recently recieved backlash for expressing his support for President Trump.

She also vowed to speak to the media soon.

After revealing she had been gardening in the wake of the fallout from her tweet, which had given her a "great deal of relief", Roseanne said her mind and body "went into deep shock".
