Prince Louis will be christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, on Monday 9 July, Kensington Palace has announced. Mental health has always been a priority for Prince William, Prince Harry, and Kate Middleton, who started Heads Together to tackle the stigma around getting help for mental illness. Diana is one of Charlotte's middle names.

The newborn was last seen in public in April when he was just seven hours old, as he left St Mary's Hospital with mum and dad, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Her father, Lord Fellowes, was the Queen's Private Secretary and his father was the Queen's land agent at Sandringham.

Eight-week-old Louis, a younger brother to Prince George and Princess Charlotte, is fifth in line to the throne.

Both George and Charlotte were both also baptised by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

"So if you follow that model for Prince Louis' christening, I wouldn't be surprised if it was announced for the end of this month or July".

Sister Princess Charlotte was also christened about two months after Kate gave birth to her.

What will Prince Louis wear at his christening?

The robe is a replica of the intricate lace and satin dress made for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter in 1841. The christening gown has been passed down to each generation and worn by 62 royal babies.
