One of the biggest debates that pops up every draft season revolves around reporters tipping picks.

"Right now, I would say I'm a mix of Giannis (Antetokounmpo) and KD (Kevin Durant)", he said. "And then people took that and kind of ran with it, saying, you know, my hip was injured, I couldn't get out of bed". Porter also remarked that he was "an immediate impact guy", and that he "doesn't want it to take long to be one of the best players in the National Basketball Association".

While the Cavs didn't win the draft lottery like they hoped they would when they traded for the No. 8 pick, this year's class is considered to be quite deep near the top.

"But Porter, the former top high school player in the USA whose freshman season at Missouri this year was cut to three games by a back injury, may be off the board well ahead of the Cavs' slot", Vardon explained.

"The game comes easily to Porter, and in a total vacuum his offensive gifts would make him a top-five selection", SI's Jeremy Woo writes.

Asked if Ayton should be drafted before him, Bagley answered unequivocally.

If Porter were to fall to the Cavs' eighth overall pick, it would likely be because of injury concerns around the league.

The Los Angeles Clippers gained an assortment of interesting pieces from the trades of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin to the Houston Rockets and Detroit Pistons, respectively. Memphis is still trying to contend with aging stars Mike Conley and Marc Gasol. The New York Times' Marc Stein reported that Memphis is considering trading away this pick with 6-foot-10 wing Chandler Parsons, who has been injured for most of his time with the Grizzlies.

Thursday marks a pivotal day for the future of the Bulls franchise.
