Earlier NV reported that according to a source in South Korea, Samsung will introduce Galaxy Note 9 at an event in NY, which will be held on August 9.

If you were expecting an on-screen fingerprint scanner on the new Note, here's a touch of bad news. There is a fresh set of rumours pointing to the fact that along with the flagship smartphone Galaxy Note 9, Samsung will also launch its smart watch - Samsung Gear S4. The device will use the earpiece as one speaker and have a dedicated speaker at the bottom.

The Edge Touch feature lets you change the sensitivity of the edge area to prevent unexpected touches. In the memory department, Samsung Galaxy J4 comes in two configurations - 2GB of RAM + 16GB of onboard storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage.

Coming to the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Lite, the smartphone variant appears to differ from the other only in terms of display size, camera and battery. Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro also features 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP selfie camera, and a 3000mAh non-removable battery.

With the Note 9, the company is taking a new direction. A higher storage variant does tend to make more sense in the long run, though. Thus, between the announcements of the Galaxy Note 8 and Note 9 held less than one year.

Samsung president of mobile, Koh Dong-jin, has confirmed that a bendable phone is coming, but we've heard no official word on release date or price. With rumors suggesting we might see a new design at some point in the future, it will be interesting to see how that device is different than what we're looking at here.

This isn't the first time we've heard of a 512GB Galaxy Note 9 - an industry insider speaking to Android Headlines said something similar last month - so this adds further evidence to that claim.
