Hazard defends his criticism about Romelu Lukaku

Belgium, who are one of the dark horses to win the World Cup, got their campaign in Russian Federation underway with a comfortable win over the South American minnows, with two goals coming from Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku.

Tunisia who first made appearance at the world cup in 1978, have never gone past the group stage in four appearances.

The midfielder scored twice to help his side take victory in Group G, with the Belgians nearly certain to qualify and will if England takes victory against Panama tomorrow.

"He's not here to be the top scorer at the World Cup, he's here to help the team to win and do his role", Martinez told reporters. Roberto Martínez said Eden Hazard and Dries Mertens were also hurt, picking up calf and ankle injuries respectively.

An extra time goal by Wahbi Khazri though a plus for the Tunisians merely reduced the tally but removed nothing from the defeat which has now confirmed their exit from the world cup.

"He's injured his external ankle ligament", Martinez added. It was a knock that he had late in the first half and he tried to play through it and he couldn't.

"He's going to be assessed and them maybe we will find out a little bit more".

England would obviously much rather face the Chelsea forward than Lukaku, but could actually face an easier route through the tournament should Belgium top the group depending on other results, such as Mexico beating South Korea.
