Actor Peter Fonda has issued an apology for his "inappropriate and vulgar" tweet about the president's son, Baron Trump, in which he called for him to be "ripped" from his mother and put in a "cage with pedophiles". "90 million people in the streets on the same weekend in the country. F-".

Spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said that "The tweet is sick and irresponsible and [Secret Service] has been notified".

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Secret Service is aware of the message, but it's unclear whether a formal investigation has been opened, as the agency does not comment on "protective intelligence".

The 78-year-old "Easy Rider" star was referencing President Donald Trump's new "zero tolerance" policy at the border, separating more than 2,000 immigrant children from their parents since Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the measure last month.

"It was wrong and I should not have done it", he concluded. "I immediately regretted it and sincerely apologise to the family for what I said and any hurt my words have caused".

Apparently, one of Fonda's movies with Sony Pictures, "Boundaries", is going to be released soon.

Fonda apparently agreed. He deleted the tweet and issued an apology over his reaction to the Trump administration's policy of separating migrant children from their parents when they are detained after crossing the US border. Cc: "@SonyPictures", Trump Jr. tweeted.

Peter Fonda is under fire for tweets he sent out about Barron Trump and Sarah Sanders.
