Race 3 collections have undoubtedly suffered because of the poor word of mouth from the audience and critics who wrote off the direction of Remo D'Souza.

Now standing at 148 crore*, the film would not even touch the 160 crore mark after the close of second weekend.

Despite a pre-Eid release, Race 3 registered around 72 per cent occupancy in the morning shows across the country, beating biggies like Baaghi 2, Padmaavat, Veere Di Wedding and many more.

Salman's actioners are known to be no-brainers, but Race 3 takes "illogic" to another tangent. On the other hand, Race 3 is just released in Hindi versions and had a normal weekend of three days.

Salman Khan's latest outing Race 3, which has scored a century at the box office in just three days, has entered its second week at the box office and is still showing no signs of slowing down. "Race mints Rs 9.25 crore on Day 6, which was a working Wednesday". Buzz has it that the film has already crossed the Rs 150 crore mark, and is now making its run towards the Rs 200-crore club. That film had collected 21.15 crore on its opening day and then had come down to 3 crore on its second Friday.

An ecstatic Salman expressed his gratitude and thanked his fans for watching Race 3. Films Sultan (2016) and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015) recorded fantastic collections of over Rs 208 crore and over Rs 172 crore in their opening weeks respectively.

Apart from the domestic circuit, Race dominated the overseas box office too, thanks to the super-stardom of Salman Khan.
