Stormy Lawyer Michael Avenatti: If Trump Runs in 2020, 'I Will Run'

Michael Avenatti, the lawyer who emerged as national figure by representing adult-film star Stormy Daniels, is weighing a challenge to President Trump in 2020. "We can't relive 2016", he wrote on Twitter.

What do y'all think, Perezcious readers?! Avenatti's criticism of Trump has gone far beyond the matter with Daniels, and he said Wednesday he would be willing to run against Trump if no one who will "fight" enters the race.

Let us know in the comments (below)... I love this country, our values and our people too much to sit by while they are destroyed.

"IF (big) he seeks re-election, I will run", he tweeted in response to being asked when he's announcing his presidential candidacy. That tweet was responding to Avenatti's earlier tweet, in which he said that "only a street fighter" can take on Trump.

He said he wants to stop Trump before the country "and its principles will be in pieces".

I always liked the Daily News!

Avenatti has been an outspoken critic of Trump amid Daniels' ongoing claims against Trump following an alleged 2006 affair.

Appearing on CNN on Wednesday, Avenatti suggested that part of his presidential platform would be related to the latter group.

Court documents say Avenatti is the "managing member and majority equity holder" of Eagan Avenatti and "solely owns and controls" another firm, Avenatti & Associates, which represents Daniels.

He then headed off any critiques of his lack of political experience by pointing to Trump's victory. "He beat all 15 of those candidates that he faced (crushed many)".
