Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen has posted another teaser for his mysterious talk show project for Showtime, which reveals that the master stunt interviewer has landed none other than former Vice President Dick Cheney for what looks to be an insane sit down conversation.

The video then plays a montage of scenes before cutting to Cheney (R) appearing to sign "a waterboard kit" after someone off-camera asked him to do so. This is gonna be a good 'un.

Cohen's latest teaser for his upcoming series features one of the most controversial figures from the George W. Bush administration: The pro-torture vice president who famously shot a guy while hunting birds, Dick Cheney. The video is presented without context, but it appears Cohen was somehow able to convince the former US vice president to sign his "waterboard kit".

Promotions for the show indicate it will be politically focused. The stunt apparently had something to do with Trump University, but aside from Cohen's initial tweet, he had very little else to say about the matter - leaving everyone else in the dark to speculate about what it all meant.

There was a time when the phrase "a new comedy by Sacha Baron Cohen" would be enough to get the world giddy with excitement.

"Sacha is a comedic genius who shocks you with his audacity, bravery and inventiveness", said Showtime Networks president and CEO David Nevins.

It even earned Cohen some derision from Donald J. Trump, who was still a real estate magnate at that point. It seems we're about to find out, as he is set to star in a new series for Showtime reportedly called Who Is America? that takes on the Trump era. Behind the elaborate setup is a genuine quest for the truth about people, places and politics. "That's the first time I ever signed a waterboard".
