Not bad for family with no talent, huh?

The 20-year-old graces the cover of Forbes' August issue and the magazine estimates her current wealth at a whopping $900 million.

On Wednesday, the sister of Kim Kardashian West made the cover of Forbes' America's Women Billionaires but she's not just making history as a woman, with another year of growth, she could be the youngest self-made billionaire ever.

And that's a conservative estimate. Forbes contends that, if the earnings trends continue, she will become the "youngest self-made billionaire ever, male or female, trumping Mark Zuckerberg, who became a billionaire at age 23".

Jenner told Forbes that she invested $250,000 of her own money from modeling gigs in 2015 to pay an outside company to produce the first 15,000 of lip kits that eventually launched into a full fletched cosmetic line. "It could easily be an instant game-changing acquisition for any company on the hunt for a winning brand with a younger customer", senior VP or merchandising at Ulta Tara Simon said.

The other $100 million of revenue comes from profits generated from her appearances on her family's reality show and other social media endorsements. Jenner is both the face of the company and the sole owner.

"I struggled for a minute with finding something to do on my own", Jenner explained. "I turned to makeup to help me feel more confident".

Of course, it all started with her now-infamous "Kylie Lip Kits", which she reportedly trademarked when she was just 17.

There has always been rumors that Kylie Jenner's Kylie Cosmetics (the brand that launched the OG lip kit and a million copycats) was on its way to being a billion-dollar business, and now it appears that historic milestone is closer than ever.

The reality star is now just 20, but with a birthday in August and her current trajectory, she looks set to claim the title. She welcomed her first child named Stormi in February with rapper Travis Scott under a shroud of secrecy.

Reflecting on the future, Jenner said she plans on working on Kyle Cosmetics "forever" noting that maybe one day she'll "pass this on to" daughter Stormi "if she's into it".

Forbes reports that Kylie Cosmetics is now worth almost $800 million (R10.7 billion) and Jenner owns 100% of the company.
