The Old Lady state that the transfer fee amounts to 112 million euros, breaking down into 100m euros for Madrid with 12m euros for training rights, which is expected to be shared between Sporting CP and Manchester United according to Federation Internationale de Football Association regulation.

Many people considered that to be a contract renewal tactic, but it has proven to be genuine after Real Madrid announced the departure of their star man on Tuesday.

Five time Ballon d'or victor Cristiano Ronaldo has left Real Madrid and signed for Juventus. In addition to that, Juve will have to pay the €100 transfer fee to Real Madrid.

Hazard still hasn't signed a new deal with Chelsea FC despite having less than 24 months to run on his current del with the west London side.

"I have had on the field and in the dressing room some fabulous team-mates, I have felt the heat of an incredible fanbase and together we have won three consecutive Champions Leagues and four in five years".

The shock move by the 33-year-old superstar comes shortly after losing what is likely his last chance to collect the only honour missing from his glittering resume - a World Cup for Portugal.

The signing of the latest Ballon d'Or victor and top scorer in the Champions League for the last six seasons represents a major coup for Juve, who have had a stranglehold on the Italian title since 2012 but have not won Europe's top prize since 1996. During these nine exciting years I have come up against great players. Former Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho, now at Manchester United, was also investigated.

Real Madrid have agreed to let the Portugese player leave.

Ronaldo himself has penned a letter to the Madrid fans, thanking them for the time he spent.

Ronaldo was also moved by the Juventus fans for giving him a standing ovation after he scored a spectacular goal against the Italian club at the Allianz Stadium in the Champions League quarterfinals last season. I'm leaving, but this shirt, this badge and the Santiago Bernabeu will continue to always feel as my own wherever I am.

The signing broke the Serie A record, which Juventus set two years ago when it paid Napoli 90 million euros (then $99 million) for Gonzalo Higuain.

A Juventus' jersey with the name of Cristiano Ronaldo is exhibited in a shop in Turin, Italy July 7, 2018. He helped the Portuguese team reach the semifinals in his first World Cup in 2006.

Ronaldo was the Spanish club's all-time leading scorer with 451 goals in 438 matches.
