Royal blunder: Meghan Markle forgets to UNWRAP bag on Ireland tour

Only this morning Meghan wore a stunning A-line Dior dress and an intricate Stephen Jones fascinator and we couldn't help but think of another iconic look after seeing it.

The Queen watched the spectacle alonside her son, Prince Charles, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Prince William and Prince Harry were decked out in their military finest.

The Duchess has championed Strathberry in two previous official appearances and memorably carried the burgundy Strathberry Midi Tote in Nottingham last December and the East/West Mini cross body bag in racing Green during her visit to Edinburgh in February. The brooch is reported to be the highest award any female cadet can achieve annually.

Wickstead, who is already a firm design favourite of Kate Middleton, made headlines in May this year after openly criticising Markle's Givenchy wedding gown and accusing the designer, Clare Waight Keller, of copying her.

The Dacre brooch was awarded to the Duchess in 2015 as a gift to commemorate her appointment as Honorary Air Commandant of the organisation.

In Meghan Markle's royal world, quashing any rumoured issue translates to wearing a dress by the designer you are alleged to have issue with, proving there's no substance to any of those rumours.

This is because she has yet to hold an honorary position within the RAF's bases or squadrons, which would see her receive the highly-coveted accessory.

Prince Harry and Meghan will have official meetings as well as taking in the cultural aspects of the country.

The Queen opted to wear the Jardine Star Brooch to the ceremony, which features eight diamond encrusted rays separated by a single diamond in the middle and a cluster of smaller stones.
