His eldest sibling Prince George, 4, clutched his dad Prince William's hand and had his trademark look of vague distaste on his face (god I love this kid) while sister Princess Charlotte, 3, looked mostly confused.

In other christening-related news, Kate wore a stunning McQueen ensemble, Meghan chose Ralph Lauren and Harry gave his new nephew Louis a very, VERY expensive present. The ceremony will also take place in the same church as Prince George's christening, the Chapel Royal at St. James's Palace, for an audience of 20 to 30 people.

But the Queen and Prince Philip were not there because of a busy week for the 92-year-old monarch, including Trump's three-day visit to the United Kingdom from Thursday.

She was joined on the balcony by her sons, Prince Charles and Prince Andrew, the Duchess of Cornwall and the "Fab Four": The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Then she was caught excitedly skipping at a polo event with her mum, Kate Middleton.

Earlier, the little royal showed off her good manners as she shared a polite handshake with the Archbishop of Canterbury as she arrived for the christening.

While many famous royal faces will gather for Prince Louis' christening today, Queen Elizabeth II won't be one of them. Carter is a college friend of Kate's, and she and her husband Robert live in the county of Norfolk near Anmer Hall, William and Kate's country home.

The list includes Nicholas van Cutsem, former Etonian Harry Aubrey-Fletcher and Lady Laura Meade, who is the wife of royal wedding speech-maker James Meade.

Mrs Carter, previously Gillingham, is an old school friend of Catherine, who both attended Malborough College.

Another well-known name to appear on the list of godparents includes Guy Pelly, who is the owner of the London nightclub Tonteria.

According to Britain's The Sun, Harry shelled out £8,000 - more than $10,000 - for a first-edition copy of "Winnie-The-Pooh" by A.A. Milne for brother Prince William's third child.
