Very early on, oddsmakers had the French as the favorites in Sunday's World Cup final.

The BBC says one of the two videos in which Vida appeared was posted online after Croatia beat host Russian Federation for the right to play in the semi-final against England.

England's shortcomings, the fault lines that have consumed them long before the semifinal stage in previous tournaments, remain the same as ever.

"What more could we ask for?"

France's forward Kylian Mbappe runs with the ball during the Russian Federation 2018 World Cup semifinal football match between France and Belgium at the Saint Petersburg Stadium in Saint Petersburg on July 10, 2018.

BRIAN STRAUS: You've brought this up a couple times and obviously I'm sure we'll delve into it in the next few days but this [Croatia] team, this program, this federation is total chaos.

"No way will they have such an easy route next time".

France and Belgium are seen as the strongest teams left in the competition, which means the victor of Tuesday's match will head into the final as favourites to be crowned world champions.
